We are currently looking for student assistants to help with research work and practical experiments.

Testing Technology

  • Form+Test PP 1500 HK-2SH bending test machine for performing 3-point or 4-point bending tests up to 1500 kN
  • ZwickRoell HC100 testing machine for dynamic component testing up to +/- 100 kN
  • In conjunction with the Ship Strength Laboratory: Test stand for dynamic component testing up to +/- 200 kN
  • Form+Test ZV 250 hydraulic hollow-bore cylinder for compression and tension tests up to +/- 250 kN
  • Prestressing station for the production of prestressed components

Measurement Technology

  • Gantner Q-brixx-XL Measurement Amplifier
  • MESSOTRON WTG 20, WTH 20, and WTG 100 displacement transducers with nominal measuring ranges of ±10 mm and ±50 mm
  • HBM C6B 500 kN force transducer
  • Strain gauges
  • GOM Aramis Adjustable Digital Image Correlation System for area-wide strain measurement
  • LUNA OdiSI 6004 Distributed Fiber Optic Sensing System for quasi-continuous strain measurement

Numerical simulations:

  • Dlubal RFEM 6 FEM software for practical analysis of structural systems
  • Infograph FEM software for practical analysis of structural systems
  • FEM software ATENA for fully nonlinear analysis of reinforced 3D concrete structures
  • INCA 2 for cross-section design (see u-pfeifer.de)
