Laboratories and workshops

Practical components are an essential part of the curriculum at the Institute of Civil Engineering. The following state-of-the-art teaching and research laboratories and workshops are available for hands-on learning:

• Surveying Laboratory
• Structural Engineering Laboratory (C35)
• Laboratory for Building Materials and Structural Diagnostics (C35/F10a)
• Road Construction Laboratory (F10a)
• Hydraulic Engineering and Coastal Protection Laboratory (F10a)
• Geotechnical Engineering Laboratory (F10a)
• Model Construction Workshop (F10a)
• Studios (F09/F10a)
• Digitization Workshop (F10a)

The institute’s laboratories and workshops are currently spread across two locations. Building C35 is located on campus. Building F10a is located at our main site at Seefischmarkt.
