The Laboratories and Workshops of the Institute of Civil Engineering


Practical components are an essential part of the curriculum at the Institute of Civil Engineering. The following state-of-the-art teaching and research laboratories and workshops are available for hands-on learning:
- CAD Labs
- Surveying Laboratory
- Structural Engineering Laboratory (C35)
- Laboratory for Building Materials and Structural Diagnostics (C35/F10a)
- Road Construction Laboratory (F10a)
- Hydraulic Engineering and Coastal Protection Laboratory (F10a)
- Geotechnical Engineering Laboratory (F10a)
- Model Construction Workshop (F10a)
- Studios (F09/F10a)
- Digitization Workshop (F10a)
The institute’s laboratories and workshops are currently spread across two locations. Building C35 is located on campus. Building F10a is located at our main site at Seefischmarkt.
