Civil Engineering
Hi there, and welcome!

Actively shaping the future and taking effective measures against climate change—these are key priorities for students at the Institute of Civil Engineering at HAW Kiel.
Together, they develop practical solutions to the major challenges of our time: whether it’s the transportation transition and mobility, innovative Hydraulic Engineering and Coastal Protection, the design of energy-efficient buildings, or the responsible use of resources. The university offers students space for creative thinking and encourages them to rethink civil engineering. The opportunities to contribute to shaping the future through their own commitment are diverse and exciting.
