Test flume

The test flume has a cross-section of 30.9 cm × 45 cm and a test run of 12.5 m in length.

Flows can be created or regular waves generated in the flume. In addition, the flume is equipped with a closed sediment recirculation system, allowing for the simulation of bedload transport. The longitudinal slope can be electrically adjusted to generate various flow conditions.

With the help of various model components, a wide range of natural processes can be replicated and hydraulic engineering problems can be investigated.
