Small Test Channel

The small test flume has a cross-section of 8.6 cm x 30 cm and a test run of 5 m in length.

Flows can be created in the flume, and regular waves can also be generated. In addition, the flume is equipped with a sediment feeder, allowing for the simulation of bedload transport. The longitudinal slope can be adjusted to create various flow conditions.

With the help of various model components, a wide range of natural processes can be replicated and hydraulic engineering problems can be investigated.
