Ring and Ball Vending Machine

The determination of the "ring-and-ball" softening point in accordance with DIN EN 1427 provides an indication of the behavior of bitumen at high temperatures. During the test, the temperature is determined at which a layer of bitumen filled into a standardized ring under specified conditions, when heated uniformly in a test fluid, undergoes a specified deformation upon the application of a steel ball. Our laboratory is equipped with a state-of-the-art device that enables fully automated evaluation.
