Marshall Compaction Tester

The Marshall compaction device, compliant with DIN EN 12697-30, is used to produce Marshall test specimens. The test specimens are produced by compacting asphalt mix with 50 blows from a drop hammer in a mold cylinder. The compaction acts on both the lower and upper end faces of the specimen. The machine is housed inside a special soundproof enclosure. The Marshall test specimens produced in this manner can then be subjected, for example, to the Marshall test in a Marshall press.
