Marshall Press

This testing device is used for the test procedure specified in DIN EN 12697-34, in which the Marshall stability and Marshall flow value of dense asphalt concrete and hot-rolled asphalt are tested and determined, respectively. For rolled asphalt, these two values serve as parameters for resistance to mechanical stress. In addition, the Marshall test verifies that the selected asphalt mixture has an appropriate void content in the Marshall specimen. The void content must not exceed or fall below certain limit values.

The device allows for fully automatic evaluation and, when connected to a laboratory computer, can generate a force-deformation diagram that is immediately available and displays all important measured values and evaluations (e.g., Marshall quotient, flow value, stability, tangential flow value, etc.).
