Asphalt Analyzer

The analysis of the asphalt mixture is performed in accordance with DIN EN 12697-1 and is used to safely extract reclaimed asphalt and determine the binder content using non-flammable solvents. During this process, the asphalt mixture is weighed into a sieve drum. The mixture is then broken down into its components in a washing chamber using solvents and ultrasound. Depending on the type of mixture, multiple washing cycles may be required. The mineral components remain in the sieve drum. Binder, solvent, and filler are washed out and further separated in the connected centrifuge. The filler remains in the centrifuge sleeve. Binders and solvents are then separated again in the recovery system through distillation using a rotary evaporator. Viewing windows allow for visual monitoring of the recovery process. The solvent is then reused.

After the washing process, the minerals and filler are dried.
