Research and knowledge transfer

The “Institute of Civil Engineering” offers the B.Eng. Civil Engineering (Bachelor of Engineering) program and the B.A. Architecture (Bachelor of Arts) program.
The curriculum focuses not only on planning and construction, but also on the economical and sustainable use of resources, as well as infrastructure development that takes environmental protection into account.

The institute has the following teaching and research laboratories and workshops: CAD labs, a laboratory for building materials and structural diagnostics, a laboratory for Structural Engineering, a road construction laboratory, a hydraulic engineering laboratory, a laboratory for structural surveying, a model-building workshop, and a digitization workshop.

State-of-the-art instruments and tools are available to students and research partners at the institute.
