Outgoing Students

A one- or two-semester stay at a foreign university with or without a double degree, an internship in a company or institution abroad or short programs such as summer schools during the lecture-free period - students at HAW Kiel have many opportunities to complete a foreign stay.

It is also possible for our teaching staff and employees from administration and technology to complete a (funded) stay abroad - be it in the form of guest lectureships or research stays, further training or language courses. The International Office will be happy to advise you.

Depending on when you would like to go abroad and which scholarship you would like to apply for, you must adhere to different application deadlines. Our application deadlines for semester stays at our partner universities are based on their nomination deadlines. These are not the same everywhere. If you have missed an application deadline, it is therefore worth contacting the International Office to find out whether it is still possible to apply at a later date.
