I explored the neighborhood today. Obviously a residential area. Nearby: various bus stops, a kiosk, a Lidl, a pharmacy, a hairdresser, a swimming pool, a bowling center, a club and much more. Nobody should tell me that there is nothing in this part of town (Petrzalka). I definitely feel at home here on the seventh floor, even if I still feel a bit of a stranger in this area. Tomorrow I'm off to the center of the capital. I'm already super excited about university.
Was it windy and cold yesterday? I didn't notice any of that. I took a leisurely 12-hour train ride to Bratislava. I'm looking forward to being able to report regularly on my experiences in Slovakia from now on.
