DLC SEE-digital
Project title
Digital Learning Campus (DLC) Learning location SEE-digital: Collect, develop, experience: The digitaltraining network for Kiel and the region
Brief description
The SEE-digital project is an innovative training network in Schleswig-Holstein that is actively shaping digital change. The aim is to promote the potential of key digital technologies such as artificial intelligence (AI), augmented reality (AR), virtual reality (VR) and robotics and make them accessible to a broad target group. This includes future professionals such as pupils and students as well as founders, teachers, scientists and researchers, employees and decision-makers in companies and organizations as well as generally interested parties.
A central approach of the project is that digital technologies must not only be reduced to technical or Buisness aspects, but must also be socially accepted. Digital skills are promoted with innovative and free formats such as blended learning, hackathons and barcamps. Open experimentation rooms and events offer space for knowledge and technology transfer, interdisciplinary collaboration and creative exchange.
The project has three phases:
- Collect - Existing offers are coordinated and initial events are developed.
- Develop - New formats and concepts are created, tailored to specific target groups.
- Experience - Open learning locations and experimental spaces invite active participation.
HAW Kiel takes on central tasks such as marketing and public relations, the development of regional learning locations and the Industrial Metaverse sub-project. This transfers the HAW's digital factory into an industrial metaverse to make technologies such as AI, VR, AR and robotics accessible free of charge. In addition, a third location for digital education is being created in the Schleswig-Holstein State Library, which will be used as an open learning and experience space.
SEE-digital, with its broad network of partners, bundles different expertise in order to sustainably strengthen the region's innovation landscape and promote intelligent economic growth.
