Welcome to our Summer School!
Hello and Moin, as we say in Kiel! We are very excited to invite students from all around the world to our Summer School in the summer of 2026.
The motto is "Future Media Makers - Digital Communication & Content Creation".
A fast-paced, hands-on program exploring the past, present and future of media production and stroytelling awaits you. With a variety of modules ranging from editing, storytelling, polygons, communication, creative technologies, podcast, reels, interviews, and AI, this summer school hones and equips you with skills for a creative and future-oriented media production.

For whom?: Our Summer School is open to students connected to media studies, but students generally interested in media are also very welcome.
Fees: 850€*, and for students of our partner universities 730€*
*The fees include the participation of the summer school, accommodation with breakfast (Adagio Aparthotel, Kiel), entries and admissions to events planned within the summer school, planned trips and excursions, and public transportation (busses, regional trains, trams, undergrounds, subways) throughout Germany for the whole month of June 2026.
Future Media Makers is open to students connected to media studies, but we also accept students gerenally interested in media.

The duration is from 01 June to 14 June 2026.
The ideal arrival date is 01 June since the hotel rooms are booked from that date onwards to the end of the summer school.
The summer school takes place in Kiel, Germany.
Trips and excusions to the cities and areas in Northern Germany are part of Future Media Makers.
Yes, by completing the full program and tasks of the summer school, you will receive 5 ECTS credits.
