Please note: Access to the services of Kiel University of Applied Sciences and successful registration (e.g. QIS, user account, email account, etc.) are only possible from the official date of enrolment. This is 1 March for the summer semester and 1 September for the winter semester of the respective year. Your user account will only be activated at this point.

Introductory Events for First-Semester Students
The welcome events for first-semester students enrolled in on-campus programmes will take place from 8 to 12 September 2025. Read more here in the programme for the welcome event for first-year students.
Module Registration and Electronic Course Enrolment

UAS Access Data
You will receive your HAW login details by post after enrolment.
These login details are your ‘ticket’ to all important systems at the university of applied sciences. Therefore, please ensure that you receive your post promptly, even if you change your place of residence at the start of your studies.
Access to the services of the Kiel University of Applied Sciences and successful registration (e.g. QIS, user account, email inbox, etc.) is only possible from the official date of enrolment. This is 1 March for the summer semester and 1 September for the winter semester of the respective year. Your user account will only be activated at this point.
We recommend that you forward your messages to another email address of your choice so that you do not miss any important information.
You will receive information on electronic course registration and the ‘QIS’ study and examination management system during the introductory week.
Registration with the Study Management System Moodle at the UAS Kiel
Dear first-year students,
As soon as you have received your documents, please log in to the e-learning system Moodle Lehre and Moodle Kollaboration with your login details.
This is a prerequisite for enrolling in Moodle courses for the modules you wish to take and for accessing the respective course content.
