First Lego League

In the current FIRST LEGO League season, which is themed "MASTERPIECE", teams are challenged to discover innovative ways to inspire others with their hobbies and interests. In doing so, they will exchange ideas with experts from museums, theaters and other creative fields and gain valuable insights from professionals with an artistic background.


Information on the seasonal theme Explore
6-10 years

In the Explore offer, pupils have the opportunity to work together as a team and in their school class on a motorized LEGO model and learn programming in a fun way. The focus is on the fundamental values of FIRST, including respect, shared experience and the promotion of critical thinking. At the end of each season, participants have the opportunity to present their projects at regional or local exhibitions and share ideas with others.

Information on the seasonal theme Challenge
9-16 years old

In the Challenge program, the teams use their knowledge over several weeks, similar to real engineers, to work together on a project. They think about, design and program an autonomous robot and investigate a topic of their choice. The participants present the results of their work at regional competition days and school-specific closing events.
